Daniel Radcliffe Gets Naked Again -- This Time as Harry Potter?!

Okay. I know that fandom usually leads to fanfic stories that center on a million different sexual scenarios, but what's with the Harry Potter nudity? If Ace Showbiz has it right, Daniel Radcliffe is stripping once again, but this time it isn't for a disturbing play about horses. It's for Harry Potter.Yes, they report that the almost-20-year-old will strip down for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Radcliffe is quoted as saying: "At first I thought I'd have pants [underwear] on for the scene. Apparently not. But I've sort of done that before on stage. It's all old hat now, really."
Well, it may be old hat to him, but there are still many hordes of Harry fans who probably weren't expecting to see his ... you can guess where I'm going with this. Will audience be able to see a good bit of skin when all is said and done? That remains to be seen. While the films are getting darker, we all know that violence and darkness goes down a lot easier than some added skin, and this is still a kid-centric series.

(Page 1)2. There is a scene in the seventh book where Harry jumps naked into a lake to retrieve a sword, so this is plausible. However, I doubt WB will risk their family friendly/cash cow PG-13 rating to tantilize fangirls. We'll probably get a shot of Daniel's butt and enough of his hips to let us know that the crew is getting an eyeful.
Can't say that I am all the excited.

7. I think it will be very PG type of nudity if they do decide to go with him being nude. i honestly don't see why he has to be nude. i don't think anyone will complain if they have him wearing clothes in that scene.
i think when all is said and done, it won't be a big deal.

8. I am certain the audience won't see a thing, but I have to say, why bother bringing this up if it's not going to be in the movie? His scene in GoF with Moaning Myrtle was as close as he needs to get to being naked.

9. In seventh part, there is a chapter called 'Seven Potter' where everyone changes as Harry, using polyjuice potion and then they change their cloth. May be in that sense, he might be shown nude in 7 replicas!?
The scene with Moaning Myrtle is seriously not for kids which is already out but nobody talked about it.

11. I can pretty much say without a doubt that that we will not see harry naked in the movie(s) -- at least not graphically. Daniel Radcliffe was in fact not referring to any script portions or talks with executives. He was simply saying he reread the final book and realized that in the book, Harry is naked during the Kings Cross scene. The script for part 2 has barely been started and Warner Brothers would not put graphic nudity or even butt shots in a Harry Potter movie.

12. If it's done within the same context as the book, it will be doing the novel justice.
It would be good for society if non-exploitative nudity was left untouched in a mainstream film like HP, but alas, as commenters before me have already said, the studio wouldn't dare show a buttocks to Potter's audience in this day and age. The most we'll see is a few frames of an opaque wide shot.
13. To be honest, I don't care if he is only shot of the top or f they show all, I just hope they don't take away from the scenes meaning. At the risk of sounding like a crazy fan, they can't take of those scenes. The first one, the seven Harry's can be done quickly, the important thing of that scene is the plan, not the seven naked Harry's. The Lake scene they can just leave his underwear n, it dosen't change what really is important, jumping in the lake for something much more important than is he or isn't he showing skin. As for Limbo, he isn't naked all the scene, readers would remember the detail. But once more, that's just a minor detail, what is said is what really matters here. If nudity is made a deal of, it is just to carter to Daniel Radcliffe fan girls. Maybe they should take it all of, just s a trivial detail of the scenes wont take away from what actually should matter in them.
