9/11 Conspiracy Movie to Open on 9/11

How will you spend the 7th anniversary of the September 11th terrorist attacks? Here's an idea: head to NYC's Two Boots Pioneer Theater for the opening night screening of Able Danger, an acclaimed independent film based around the conspiracy theory that U.S. intelligence was involved in the planning and execution of the tragic events on the morning of that infamous date. Even if you think the idea of a 9/11 conspiracy is ludicrous and in poor taste, the premiere screening should be interesting, because writer-director Paul Krik will be on hand for a Q&A. And this is the sort of city where people will likely show up for a debate. Of course, while subsequent screenings throughout the film's one-week engagement won't be attended by Krik, there could still be some engaging conversation to be had with fellow audience members. So if you can't make the initial showing, don't worry about missing out on all the fun.The film, which stars Elina Löwensohn (Nadja) and Adam Nee, is a fictional thriller (Variety labels it a mix between The Maltese Falcon and Kiss Me Deadly) about a couple of 9/11 "truthers" attempting to expose the conspiracy using a hard-drive filled with data thought to be destroyed by a real classified government program named Able Danger. It had its world premiere back in January at the International Film Festival Rotterdam and has since screened at the Cannes Film Market (aka the Marche du Film) and opened the Brooklyn International Film Festival, where it won a special award of excellence. (Page 1)2. What does FDNY have to do with it being a consipiracy. It's not saying the Fire Department knew about it and they are at fault. And how is this in poor taste? Keep an open mind that the government may not be as "innocent" as you think they are. Take for example WWII - evidence shows that FDR knew about the pearl harbor attacks in advance, yet he did nothing to prevent or prepare. The only reason the FDNY or NYPD should be upset is about the possibility that the government staged this to launch us into the middle east, is this so hard to believe? Quit being an ignoramous. The bush administration is possibly the worse thing that could have happened to America in present times and in terms of foreign relations they completely took 3 steps backwards in that department. Ignorance breeds ignorance, so if you're playing in the gene pool, please get out.

Most people are so taken in by it that they never demanded a criminal investigation. Just as well, because Bush and Cheney stifled all attempts at an investigation from the beginning.

Watch Zietgeist, fantastic documentary, it doesnt claim to offer the truth, just presents you with some questions that the u.s. government has so far refused to answer that smack of cover-up, but then again we are talking about the u.s. government, they're perfectly capable of anything hence the immense popularity of you yanks worldwide, hopefully this obama puppet will change things for ya.

16. How come the people that always say we should have an "open mind" don't really think that. They just want you to believe the "option" that they present. Just because you have options doesn't mean they should be considered. I highly disapprove of almost everything the Bush administration has done, but to even suggest that the highest levels of our government could jeopardize the lives of so many people is ludicrous, not to mention they cannot keep anything secret anymore, we would have found out. Maybe the new architects for the Freedom tower planned the attack so they could design a building in NY. There, that's an option, thus automatically viable by your standards. Ever hear of Occam's Razor? Look it up.
