'Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince' Teaser!

So you know that 15-second Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince teaser that's playing before The Dark Knight? Yeah, well it's just hit The Tube ... and you can see it above. Unfortunately, it's very much a teaser in that there's no actual footage from the film at all. All we hear is Dumbledore's voice saying, "Once again, I must ask too much of you Harry." Then there's some lights, and -- ta da -- we get the title: Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. Following the title, there's this: Select Sequences in IMAX 3-D. Yeah, I'm thinking that will look pretty damn cool. I wish we had more to give you Potter nuts right now (you can also check out our nifty gallery below), but this is all there is. However, a little wizard told me there might be some more gifts arriving soon ...
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince hits theaters on November 21.

(Page 1)2. That was terrible. And with all the changes they've made, it's probably gonna suck even more than OOTP. They can't even keep to the basic premise to the story anymore. Arthur being mauled by Fenrir? WTF, man? That was Bill! And deatheaters are attacking the Burrow? Um, no. The Burrow has the same enchantments as Hogwarts so they couldn't attack them. This is why Voldy had to take down the Ministry 1st before sending deatheaters to Bill and Fleur's wedding in Deathly Hallows.
This is just extremely disappointing. GRR!!!!

3. I agree with both statements--the teaser sucks and Yates sucks. He ruined OOTP and will ruin this one. Wildly inappropriate/unimaginative director for the series.

4. I agree with you about them majorly altering the script but you shouldn't hate David Yates for that you should hate the scriptwriter, Michael Goldenberg. He is the one who cuts and chops the stories up David Yates just brings what is written and puts it to screen. Yes I was disappointed with Order of the Phoenix there was so much left out that they could have included but I think that Yates did a pretty good job with the way the film looked. Take the final battle in the ministry in my opinion it was far too short but the look of it and the way it was shot was pretty damn good.
This time around it is Steve Kloves writing the script who is the one who wrote the scripts for all the other Harry films plus has been signed on for both installs of Deathly Hallows. So hopefully he will be able bring back the magic for us.

The teaser did suck.
But isn't that the point of a teaser, to tease you?
If it was any better, they would have called it a trailer.

1. Wow, even by teaser standards thats pathetic. Give us the season of the release at least. That was awful.
