its just a bland of random action scenes placed together to try and look like a real movie, its repulsive and iddiotic, i have not seen such a cheesy trailer like this in a long time, they were actually trying to go for a cool flick with this?????

2. Wow, that does look bad. I find it odd that John Malkovich, Ron Perlman and Tom Jane, having all recently been in recently successful films, feel the need (or at least do not see the failure coming) to do flicks like this.

It reminds me of that studio who makes the copyright-almost-infringement movies. They did Transmorphers and that Snakes on a Train...

For shame people... I wonder if we'll see this 'Simon Hunter' again. Hopefully he won't be another Uwe Boll.

6. Jesus, that looks so...bleh. What, did they blow all but $20 of the budget on the actors? There is absolutely nothing in that trailer that makes me even consider watching this movie. It even looks ugly. I swear, I've never seen so little color in a trailer in my life. I don't think I can even work up the interest to make fun of how wholly mediocre this thing looks.

7. I'm a tad embarassed to say I used to play the Mutant Chronicles board-game/RPG when I was like 12. It wasn't very good and I can't see how they could have built a solid story out of it. It would be like making a Warhammer movie.

I wonder if they could change the name of this movie at the last minute to Gears of War. It has the exact same aesthetic and the mutants are underground too!

8. Most of the shots are unfinished, and the 'look' is not finished either - it's basically taken from the editing program as is and given a minor treatment that is in the ball park of what the final film will look like.

The teaser was put together for the Cannes market, to sell to foreign buyers, and not really meant for public consumption. Foreign buyers are used to seeing less that commercial fare when they are at festivals - being that most films are put on the market before they have the marketing dollars for a professional trailer, hence the unfinished look of the film.

The film was made in 2006 but there were over 1800 visual effects shots that they had to work on... and that takes time to work on.

Know the "facts" before you people act like a bunch of assholes.

But one should not judge a whole film on only a few quick scenes from an unfinished trailer. Something you people have failed to do.

9. Having already got an exclusive look at the finished product, I was surprised at how much fun it was. It's loud, exciting, very funny and brutally entertaining. I say see it when it hits theaters.

10. Actually wasn't so bad. Not as painful as HB2 and a tad more serious than Doomsday. Film sported a gritty, industrial feel, dialog wasn't over the top, effects weren't overplayed. And TJ held his own well.
